Hospital Bag Essentials
As you eagerly await the arrival of your little bundle of joy, it’s time to start thinking about what to pack in your hospital bag.
As a newborn photographer based in Milton Keynes, I’ve had countless discussions with other mums about what they wished they’d taken and what proved to be absolute must-haves during their hospital stays. With this in mind, I’ve curated a list to ensure you pack everything for a comfortable and memorable experience - not just for mum, but for your birth partner and baby too. Here are a few of the essentials:
Maternity Underwear/Pads - Comfort is a priority during this special time. Pack some maternity underwear and pads to stay comfy and worry-free.
Snacks and Drinks - Keep your energy up with your favourite snacks and drinks. Trust me; you’ll need those boosts!
Breastfeeding Bras - If you plan to breastfeed, you’ll want to prepare for this journey with supportive and accessible bras.
Phone Charger - Don’t miss a single moment! You or your birth partner should keep your phone charged so you don’t miss a single precious moment. Make sure you check out my Must-Have Newborn Portraits blog to find out which snaps you NEED to take.
Baby’s Going Home Outfit - Choose a special outfit for your little one’s first journey home. You’ll remember this little sleepsuit forever.
Curious about what else you’ll need? Enter your email below, and I’ll send you the complete hospital bag checklist for mum, the birth partner and baby too. It’s a handy guide to ensure you have everything covered and are well-prepared for this magical time.
