Blog-Christmas in Milton Keynes: Festive Events In and Around MK

As the festive season begins to light up Milton Keynes, I’m always looking for things my family and I can do to celebrate Christmas and make precious memories together. Luckily, Milton Keynes is always bursting with festive cheer! From visiting Santa to magical Christmas events, I’ve created a list of just a few events happening in and around the area. So, grab your coats, bundle up the little ones, and let’s dive into the winter wonderland that is Christmas in Milton Keynes!

🎄Centre:MK

Centre:MK welcome ‘The Snowman’ Christmas experience! There is a live interpretation of the film, and then your little ones can decorate a Christmas treat before meeting Santa! It is open from 17th November 2023 - 24th December 2023.

🎄Milton Keynes Theatre

Visit Milton Keynes Theatre to see the live performance of Cinderella this Christmas, a family favourite you can’t miss! Running from 9th December 2023 - 14th January 2024.

🎄Willen Lake

Lakeside ice skating is available at Willen Lake this winter. Willen on Ice will be available from 17th November 2023 - 7th January 2024. And for those in the family who do not want to ice skate, there are rides, food stalls and a bar.

🎄Gulliver’s Land

Visit Gulliver’s Land this Christmas - several Christmas theme park packages are available, including a visit to Santa’s Grotto with the opportunity for your little ones to choose their own gift. The Gulliver’s Land of Lights is also running until 25th February 2024, with a brand-new trail your children will love!

🎄Milton Keynes Museum

You can visit Santa’s Grotto at the Milton Keynes Museum for a fabulous festive experience. Your little ones can participate in Christmas craft activities and receive a gift. This will be open for three weekends, from 1st December 2023 - 17th December 2023.

🎄The Stables

At The Stables, you can see a festive production of Hansel and Gretel, with puppets, innovative theatre and magical music. This is running from 18th December 2023 - 23rd December 2023.

🎄Hogshaw Farm

Hogshaw Farm has many festive events, from an upcoming Christmas tree shop, a Christmas Wreath-Making Workshop, a Christmas Market and the chance to Meet Father Christmas (confirm dates for each event via the website).

🎄Frosts Garden Centre

Frosts Garden Centre, Woburn Sands and Willington also host several Christmas events this year. These include Christmas Afternoon Tea with the Ice Queen, Santa Paws Event, Afternoon Tea with Princess Beauty and the Santa’s Grotto Experience (confirm dates for each event via the website).

🎄Stoke Goldington Christmas Trees

At Stoke Goldington Christmas Trees Farm, you can pick your very own Christmas tree, perfect for your home! No tickets are required, and they open for five weekends, from the 25th of November.
